I think the reason he suggests that we should use RSS more than any other tool in this book is just volume. You can get any amount of information you could ever imagine sent too your feed for filtering. If you have information on research projects sent to you. The internet has endless amounts of information that can me sorted through. I think that this tool could help the read/write web user to learn who is trustable and who should be avoided. You can find and verify information that can be used in education. Cannot wait to learn how to use it better.

When preparing for an assignment that requires research an individual can simply make a folder and subscribe to articles that relate to the subject of interest. By doing this, the individual will have research done when the times come to start the actual project.

If you search for information using an RSS feed all of the information will be right in front of you. Whatever sites you subscribe to will have up to date and accurate information right before you. The amount of people who spend hours on the web looking for the right kinds of information is far too many, so the author says people can save a lot of time by using an RSS type of search.
